Rabbit Pie
Type O, B, and AB Recipe

1 Rabbit , simmered in water 4 hours or on low overnight in crock pot with bay leaf & bouquet garni; cut meat from bones and cube; reserve 2 cups; freeze rest.
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Flour
1 c Chicken broth + 1 cup milk -- OR
-- 2 c Chicken broth
Salt & pepper to taste
Parsley to taste
Frozen mixed vegetables -- OR
-- Sautéed fresh vegetables
Pastry

Melt butter, stir in flour, gradually add liquid. Heat until thickened & bubbly. Season. Add meat and vegetables. Put in large pie pan or individual ones. Cover with pastry. Bake at 400 - 425 F for 8 - 10 minutes or until pastry is browned.

Notes for type O:

Use spelt flour for the filling and pastry. Use all chicken broth (no milk).

Notes for type B:

Use vegetable broth in place of chicken broth. Use spelt or unbleached white flour for the filling and pastry.

Notes for type AB:

Use olive oil in place of butter. Omit pepper (substitute any allowed spice of your liking). Spelt or whole wheat flour is recommended for both the filling and pastry.

Notes for all blood types:

Choose any vegetables you like from allowed lists.
