Fruit Exploration Breakfast Shake


Yield: 1 serving


10 oz unsweetened fruit juice, your choice,
-- preferably fresh squeezed or pressed
1 medium to large frozen banana OR
1 small frozen banana and one handful fresh
-- or frozen berries, your choice


Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a 16 oz glass.

To include a little protein try adding one or two of these ingredients:

1 - 2 tbs protein powder
2 tbs sesame meal or sesame seeds
1 - 2 tbs unsweetened, unflavoured yogurt
1/4 cup firm silken tofu

Note: when using sesame seeds or sesame meal be sure to blend very well.  You may find the shake has a little more texture with this ingredient, but in addition to protein it will add some non-dairy calcium to your breakfast.
