Directions Blend first three ingredients together with a wooden spoon to make the dough. Set aside. Wash fruits and chop into pieces that are a little smaller than bite sized. Form dough around fruit pieces and roll in choice of coating. Store in the fridge. Recipe by: Robin Russell "This recipe is based on Loraine Picot's almond nuggets. I swapped some of the ingredients around for a different taste and texture. My husband LOVED them!" Notes These treats were tested using Nature's First Law Organic Raw Chocolate Powder I used a jar of roasted hazelnut butter, as I had some on hand. However, if you wish to create an authentic 100% raw food recipe use raw nut butter. You can try our recipe with one small change: you want your nut butter to be the proper consistency at room temperature and more stiff when refrigerated. You can get creative with your choice of coatings. I tried the following: hulled hemp nut; sprouted flax powder; finely shredded coconut; more raw chocolate powder; finely shredded coconut mixed with raw chocolate powder. . . the possibilities are endless. This recipe makes about 50 nuggets, so you may wish to cut it in half. Alternatively, the dough will keep in the fridge for several days so you can make more nuggets at a later time. Just bring it back to room temperature for easy handling. For nutritional information on raw chocolate and more recipe ideas,
