VN, GF, SF

Ingredients

15 oz can white beans, drained & rinsed well
1 1/2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice (not from
-- concentrate)
3 tsp Garlic Valley Farms Garlic Juice Spray
2 tbs fresh basil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbs Dijon mustard

Directions

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. How's that for easy? Serve with a variety of crackers.

Recipe from: Garlic Valley Farms.

The latest happenings in my kitchen have been experiments with Garlic Valley Farms cold pressed garlic juice spray. It tastes great and is a quick & easy way to add authentic unprocessed garlic flavour to all sorts of recipes. I recently tried the above bean dip and really liked it. As the recipe states, it's very easy to make. I had to modify it slightly as I did not have some of the ingredients. Instead of balsamic vinegar I used apple cider vinegar. Certainly you will get a more robust flavour from the balsamic type. I used one teaspoon dried basil instead of fresh, and lowered the salt to one teaspoon. The Dijon mustard adds a nice zest. A great dip for chips or crackers.
